Enabling Technology for Future Missions
Solicitation # 9F063-20260085
The Canadian Space Agency is soliciting offers from Canadian suppliers for the development and advancement of Priority Technologies to support future space missions and reduce technical uncertainties. The primary objective is to mature specific technologies, such as a lightweight, athermal reflecting telescope, to Technology Readiness Level 5. This involves the delivery of a brassboard validated in representative thermal-vacuum and vibration environments for Low Earth Orbit, alongside a credible roadmap for integration into CubeSat or small-satellite missions. The project is planned for a duration of 16 months, featuring a milestone schedule that includes a Kick-off meeting, Preliminary Design Review, Detailed Design Review, Test Readiness Review, and a Final Review meeting. Selection is based on a combined rating where technical merit is weighted at 60 percent and price at 40 percent, with a minimum technical score of 70 points required for consideration. The contract includes comprehensive requirements for software licensing, hardware delivery, and an Indigenous Participation Plan. Payments are processed within 30 days of receiving undisputed invoices, which must be supported by release documents and evidence of completed work. Performance is primarily centered in Quebec, and the procurement process is managed through the CPConnect Service with a focus on high-quality technical substantiation and adherence to specific TRL frameworks.

Commercial Low Earth Orbit (LEO) Destination Contract (CLDC) Technical Library
Solicitation # 80JSC025_CLDC_TECH_LIBRARY
The Commercial Low Earth Orbit (LEO) Destination Contract (CLDC) Technical Library, managed by the NASA Johnson Space Center, serves as a centralized repository of technical standards, plans, and guidelines for potential offerors. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to support the development of private LEO space destinations and supporting systems as NASA prepares for the retirement of the International Space Station. The library provides a series of data drops containing both controlled and uncontrolled technical data, including standards for docking systems, payload interfaces, and crew health operations. It also outlines specific NASA center capabilities and high-value engineering products available to industry partners to reduce technical and schedule risks. It is important to note that this activity is a special notice and does not constitute a Request for Proposals, Invitation for Bid, or Request for Quotation. No proposals are to be submitted in response to this notice, and it does not represent a commitment by the government to enter into a contract. Access to export-controlled content requires the submission of a specific request form and compliance with U.S. export regulations, including the implementation of Technology Transfer Control Plans and Non-Disclosure Agreements for foreign nationals. The library is intended to keep industry updated on current NASA technical standards in anticipation of future FAR-based acquisitions.

Responses to this request for information (RFI) will be considered in the Government's development of acquisition strategies. Background: The primary purpose of this request for information is to determine feasibility of a launch location for delivering targets into a ballistic trajectory. The Government is looking to understand which US launch locations are able to support the following requirements: All target vehicles must ground launch at 110'220-degree azimuth into Broad Ocean Area (BOA) south of the Aleutian Islands to align with additional mission requirements. Debris patterns from target impact will likely occur at an altitude of between 120 km and 200 km and must align with environmental regulatory requirements. SOC Guidelines: The Government is requesting interested launch locations respond by submitting a SOC summarizing their overall ability and approach to meet the specific requirements. The RFI objective is to assess established launch locations to determine if they meet the necessary requirements for the mission set described in the Background. In addition to addressing the requirements listed above, please provide the technical capabilities of the launch location, including but not limited to: (A) Trajectory capabilities. Describe the azimuths that the launch location supports without additional maneuvering made necessary. Discuss any relevant limitations to reaching specific azimuths. (B) Resource availability. Describe the current capabilities that your launch location includes, and rationale for why it would meet the above Background requirements. In your description, discuss current infrastructure to include but not limited, power, environmental conditioning, fuel storage, integration facilities, flight termination systems (FTS), radar systems, command and control (C2) infrastructure, current communication security (COMSEC) plans, roads, lodging, etc. Include a summary of current Environmental Approvals (EAs) and any issues associated with those EAs, to include a path to resolution. The SOC must be submitted within 10 calendar days of posting this RFI and is limited to 10 pages, size 11 font with 1 margins. All replies to this synopsis must reference Targets Launch Location SOC. Submit only unclassified and non-proprietary information if possible. If proprietary information is deemed essential, all proprietary information should be clearly marked and associated with restrictions on Government use identified. Note: Both Government and Contractor personnel will be utilized for SOC evaluation. If proprietary information is deemed essential, Non-Disclosure Agreements will be executed.
