The UK Space Agency (UKSA) is launching a Contracts for Innovation competition to fund approximately two In-Orbit Manufacturing (IOM) Maturation Research & Development Projects. The competition will support the research, development and maturation of an In-Orbit Manufacturing process and associated payload. Projects will undertake proportionate design, prototyping, analysis and testing to achieve Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 4/5 by the Final Review milestone and establish a credible route to a potential future demonstration in an appropriate microgravity environment. The IOM Maturation Projects will: · Mature the IOM manufacturing process and associated payload to TRL 4/5 by the Final Review milestone, generating evidence against relevant performance indicators (such as quality, performance and quantity). · Develop and compare credible routes to a future microgravity demonstration, identifying the developments required to progress towards demonstration by 2030. · Strengthen the commercial case and strategic relevance of the proposed IOM capability, including its relevance to identified customer and end-user needs. · Generate evidence to inform future UKSA investment and procurement decisions, including a potential future IOM demonstration procurement and the associated ISAM IOD Programme Business Case. This is one of two concurrent procurements being progressed, the other being for Mission Feasibility Studies – Spacecraft Life Extension Service Demonstration. Please see the respective notice on Find a Tender: Title: Mission Feasibility Studies – Spacecraft Life Extension Service Demonstration This procurement is for exempted contracts under section 3(6) and paragraph 22 of Schedule 2, Part 2 (subject-matter exempted contracts) of the Procurement Act 2023. Exempted contracts are not public contracts as defined by section 3 of the Act and are therefore not required to be procured in accordance with the provisions of the Act relating to covered procurement. This competition concerns Research and Development services. Bidder Engagement Event The UK Space Agency will hold an optional in-person Engagement Event covering both ISAM In-Orbit Demonstration Programme Discovery Phase competitions. The event will provide an overview of the tender documentation and published tender requirements for both procurements and include a clarification Q&A session. Transcriptions and any clarifications that materially affect the procurement requirements will subsequently be uploaded to the Jaggaer eSourcing Portal. The Engagement Event will take place on 6 November 2026 at the UK Space Agency Conference Centre, Harwell Campus, OX11 0FD. Bidders may attend either the morning session (10:00-12:00) or the afternoon session (13:00-15:00). Organisations wishing to attend must express their interest by 15:00 UK time on 4 November 2026 by emailing contact@example.gov with the subject line "IOD Discovery Phase Engagement Event". The email must state which session the organisation wishes to attend and provide the name and email address of the proposed attendee. Attendance is limited to one representative per organisation. Subject to capacity, a second representative may be accommodated. Organisations wishing to send two representatives should request this when registering their interest. UKSA will confirm by 15:00 UK time on 5 November 2026 whether a second attendee can be accommodated.

Enabling Technology for Future Missions
Solicitation # 9F063-20260085
The Canadian Space Agency (CSA) is soliciting proposals under the Space Technology Development Program (STDP) to develop and advance one to three priority technologies intended to reduce technical uncertainties for future Canadian space missions. This fixed-price procurement focuses on increasing Technology Readiness Levels (TRL) in accordance with CSA-ST-GDL-0001 Revision A guidelines. The identified priority technologies include a lightweight athermal reflecting telescope for CubeSats, readout electronics for large mosaic focal plane arrays, and technologies for the Ground Snow Mass Mission, with maximum funding per contract ranging from 1 million to 2 million Canadian dollars. The project is expected to span 16 months, structured around five key milestones: a kick-off meeting, preliminary design review, detailed design review and work authorization meeting, test readiness review, and a final review meeting. Selection is based on the highest combined rating of technical merit (60%) and price (40%), with additional points available for Indigenous considerations. The contract requires strict adherence to security protocols, including Protected B and Reliability Status, and mandates the use of the Information Sharing with External Partners portal for sensitive data transfers. Performance is subject to rigorous inspection and acceptance processes for both hardware and software, including a 90-day warranty period for custom software.

Systèmes De Microréacteur Lunaire Canadien
Solicitation # 9F055- 20260146
The Canadian Space Agency (CSA) has issued a Request for Information (RFI) under solicitation number 9F055-20260146 to identify Canadian technologies and capabilities relevant to lunar microreactors and enabling technologies. This initiative seeks to gather evidence-based data on Canada's existing strengths, technology maturity, supply chains, and development pathways to inform future space exploration programs and procurement strategies. The CSA is interested in a wide range of contributions, from complete systems and subsystems to specialized research and consortium roles, and is not requiring a single entity to deliver an end-to-end system. Notional performance parameters of interest include a net continuous electric power of approximately 20-80 kWe and an operational life of 10 years or more. This RFI is not a bid solicitation and will not result in the award of a contract, grant, or funding agreement. Responses are not scored for supplier selection but are used to map the domestic landscape. Interested parties from industry, academia, and research institutions must submit their responses by November 23, 2026. Submissions should follow the recommended format in Annex A and utilize the Capability Matrix and Technology Readiness Level references provided in the attachments. All responses must be unclassified, and any proprietary information must be clearly marked. The CSA emphasizes that future activities must prioritize safety, security, environmental protection, and non-proliferation in accordance with the Nuclear Safety and Control Act and other applicable laws.

Commercial Low Earth Orbit (LEO) Destination Contract (CLDC) Technical Library
Solicitation # 80JSC025_CLDC_TECH_LIBRARY
The Commercial Low Earth Orbit (LEO) Destination Contract (CLDC) Technical Library, managed by the NASA Johnson Space Center, serves as a centralized repository of technical standards, plans, and guidelines for potential offerors. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to support the development of private LEO space destinations and supporting systems as NASA prepares for the retirement of the International Space Station. The library provides a series of data drops containing both controlled and uncontrolled technical data, including standards for docking systems, payload interfaces, and crew health operations. It also outlines specific NASA center capabilities and high-value engineering products available to industry partners to reduce technical and schedule risks. It is important to note that this activity is a special notice and does not constitute a Request for Proposals, Invitation for Bid, or Request for Quotation. No proposals are to be submitted in response to this notice, and it does not represent a commitment by the government to enter into a contract. Access to export-controlled content requires the submission of a specific request form and compliance with U.S. export regulations, including the implementation of Technology Transfer Control Plans and Non-Disclosure Agreements for foreign nationals. The library is intended to keep industry updated on current NASA technical standards in anticipation of future FAR-based acquisitions.
