Public Services and Procurement Canada’s Pension Excellence Sector (PES) within the Receiver General and Pension Branch (RGPB) is responsible for the administration of pensions across multiple plans. One of its key responsibilities includes managing the Judges legacy Annuitant system, which operates on COBOL-based technology. PSPC’s Digital Services Branch (DSB) requires the services of a COBOL programmer, in which they will provide expertise and support for the maintenance, modernization, and enhancement of the Judges system on an “as and when requested” basis as initiated through Task Authorizations. The goal is to ensure the system continues to meet operational requirements and is adaptable to future technological advancements.
