TELEPHONE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM MAINTENANCE

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: The MCIEAST Satellite Contracting Office, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS), Cherry Point, NC 28533 hereby gives notice of their intent to award a contract to K & R Custom Software, Inc., 453 McLaws Circle, Suite 2, Williamsburg, VA 23185 (Cage Code 5Y342) on a sole source basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b)(i), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, NC has an urgent requirement to establish a contract for Integrated Telephone Management Software Maintenance. K & R Software Inc. is the sole creator of the Telecommunication Management System and is the only company that provides service and support for their product. Therefore, the government intends to procure this service on a sole source basis from K & R Custom Software, Inc. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within one (1) calendar day after the date of the publication of this synopsis, will be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
