Telluride Parking Lot Snow Removal

Background The Town of Telluride, located in San Miguel County, Colorado, is inviting sealed proposals from qualified service providers for snow removal in public parking lots during the winter season. The goal of this contract is to ensure safe and accessible parking areas for residents and visitors during snowy conditions. Work Details The contractor will provide snow removal services for three designated parking lots: - Lot L (Shandoka Lot, approximately 2.5 acres) - Lot B (South Pearl Lot, approximately 0.5 acres) - Lot 34 (Carhenge, approximately 2.0 acres). Snow must be cleared when there is an accumulation of four (4) inches or more at a mutually agreed point by 7:00 A.M. All driving surfaces and parking spaces must be cleared as per the attached drawings. Specific tasks include: 1. Complete snow removal from all areas free of parked cars. 2. Snow hauling to designated stockpile areas as indicated in the project plans. 3. Clearing drainage inlets and ensuring proper drainage. 4. Providing a detailed equipment schedule with hourly rates for each piece of equipment used in snow removal and hauling. Period of Performance The contract period begins on November 1, 2025, with substantial completion expected by April 1, 2026, and final completion by April 23, 2026. Place of Performance Snow removal services will be performed in public parking lots located within the Town of Telluride, Colorado. Bidder Requirements Bidders must provide evidence of their qualifications including a performance bond and payment bond guaranteeing faithful performance and payment for all labor and materials. They are required to maintain a Telluride Business License and demonstrate compliance with local laws and ordinances. Additionally, bidders must submit a Statement of Contractor’s Qualifications detailing their experience and financial stability.
