Testing, Maintenance, Servicing and Repair of Air Compressors and Ancillary Compressed Air Equipment

The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council is seeking a qualified and experienced contractor for the testing, maintenance, servicing, and repair of air compressors and ancillary compressed air equipment. The scope of work covers a diverse estate of approximately 450 properties across the Bradford district, including schools, libraries, leisure centres, offices, residential homes, and commercial premises. The successful contractor must ensure all work complies with manufacturer recommendations and specifications. This open competition is particularly suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises as well as voluntary, community, and social enterprises. The contract is estimated to have a value of 75,000 pounds excluding VAT. It is scheduled to begin on January 5, 2027, for an initial two-year term ending January 4, 2029, with the possibility of three one-year extensions extending the total duration to January 4, 2032. Extensions are contingent upon funding, satisfactory performance, and acceptable pricing. Award criteria are weighted with a 10 percent allocation for social value.
