The Department of Defense Biometrics Fusion Center (BFC) in Bridgeport, WV is seeking information from organizations that have developed commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and government off-the-shelf (GOTS) biometric devices, components, software, algorithms, and templates. The BFC serves as a center of excellence for biometrics technology, collaborating with industry, academia, government, and DoD users to establish biometric performance measures and conduct world-class test and evaluation of biometric technologies for DoD applications. Its responsibilities include operating the DoD Biometrics Repository, managing the biometric test and evaluation laboratory, and supporting the technical integration efforts across DoD organizations, with the aim of providing authentication solutions on a global scale. The BFC’s request for information is designed to gather a comprehensive overview of available biometric products, their applications, relevant technical and biometric standards, and test processes and results. This data will inform the selection of products and technologies for subsequent test and evaluation, with purchase-based procurement of selected items. Responses are invited from manufacturers, educational institutions, consortia, nonprofits, and government organizations. A single coordinated submission is requested from manufacturers with distribution channels to prevent duplicate entries. Responses must be complete and submitted by June 30, 2003, through a specified online process and emailed accordingly. Although no direct contracting will result from this request, the information gathered will support future assessments and recommendations for DoD biometric applications.

NA The mission of the Biometrics Fusion Center (BFC) is to serve as a biometrics technology center of excellence. The BFC interacts with industry, academia, government, and DoD users to establish biometric performance measures that will be used to perform wo rld-class test and evaluation of biometric technologies for DoD consumption. The BFC is charged with operating and maintaining a DoD Biometrics Repository to support test and evaluation of biometrics, and ultimately function as authenticator for the DoD E nterprices Solution on a global basis. The BFC operates the DoD's biometric test and evaluation laboratory and provides technical implementation and integration support to DoD organizations. The BFC will use the information gathered in response to this R FI to gain an understanding of the range of biometric products available from various sources, as well as the state of the art within the various biometrics fields of commercial and non-commercial endeavors. In addition to product information, the BFC is interested in potential applications of your biometric products and technology; biometric and other technical standards; test process information and test results. The BFC will use the information received in response to this RFI to select products and tec hnologies for test and evaluation. Test results, analyses, and recommendations will be available for DoD use in specific biometric applications. Products selected for testing will be obtained on a purchase basis. To respond to this RFI go to http://www.c 3i.osd.mil/biometrics/. Click on link at bottom of page entitled 'this questionnaire', follow instructions for completing the documents, and email to contact@example.gov. Companies, educational institutions, consortia, nonprofit, and Govern ment organizations are encouraged to respond. Responses will be accepted through June 30, 2003. RF Sensor Network Design & IntegrationThe contract involves the design and integration of a multi-domain RF sensor network specifically engineered to detect and characterize frequency-agile unmanned aerial systems. This effort requires advanced signal processing capabilities to identify, track, and classify UAS threats in complex electromagnetic environments, with an emphasis on real-time situational awareness and adaptive response. The solution must be scalable, ruggedized for field operations, and capable of seamless operation across multiple domains including ground, air, and potentially space-based platforms. Deployment planning is a critical component, ensuring the network can be rapidly installed and configured in diverse operational terrains with minimal logistical footprint. The system must interoperate with existing military command, control, communications, and intelligence systems to feed actionable data into broader defense architectures. Performance requirements include high sensitivity to low-power signals, resistance to jamming and spoofing, and the ability to function autonomously in contested or denied environments. The work is to be performed in West Fork, Arkansas, under a subcontract arrangement with the Department of Defense, leveraging NAICS code 334511 for electronic component and product manufacturing.
