The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is conducting market research in accordance with FAR Part 10 to identify responsible sources capable of providing Microsoft Surface Pro 13 tablet devices (Brand Name Only) and associated accessories in support of the IRS Criminal Investigation (CI) Technology Operations.


This Request for Information (RFI) is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation (RFQ or RFP) or a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. This notice does not commit the Government to award a contract or reimburse any costs incurred in responding to this notice.


Requirement


The Government anticipates procuring:


  • 135 Microsoft Surface Pro 13 tablet devices (Brand Name Only)
  • Associated accessories, as identified in the future solicitation
  • Standard manufacturer warranty
  • Delivery to Government-designated locations

The Government has determined that the Microsoft Surface Pro 13 is required to satisfy mission requirements. A Brand Name Justification will be prepared in accordance with applicable Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requirements.


Requested Information


Interested vendors are requested to provide the following information:


  1. Company name, UEI, and CAGE Code.
  2. Business size and socioeconomic status.
  3. Confirmation that your company is an authorized Microsoft reseller or distributor.
  4. Confirmation that your company can provide the required quantity of 135 Microsoft Surface Pro 13 devices.
