Thermoplastic Pavement Markings FY27 IDQ (MAC)

The City of Norfolk Department of Public Works is soliciting bids for an Indefinite Quantity Multiple Award Contract (IDQ MAC) for the installation of thermoplastic pavement markings throughout the City of Norfolk, Virginia. This unit-priced contract consists of a 12-month base period with two additional 12-month option periods. The scope of work includes providing all labor, materials, and equipment for the installation of various pavement markings, including white and yellow line markings, green pavement markings, delineators, and pavement message markings, as well as providing necessary traffic control and record drawings. All work must adhere to the City of Norfolk Special Provisions and VDOT 2016 Road and Bridge Specifications. Awards will be granted to the lowest responsive and responsible bidders, and the City reserves the right to make multiple awards. Selected contractors must provide performance and payment bonds in the amount of $250,000.00 and a workmanship warranty for 12 months. Quality control is strictly monitored, requiring testing for application thickness and glass bead rates every three hours during workdays.
