The Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has issued a Request for Information (RFI) and Sources Sought notice for Integrated Logistics Division Maintenance and Logistics Support Services. This effort is for market research purposes to identify capable sources for corrective and preventative maintenance of both large-scale and small-scale Non-Intrusive Inspection (NII) equipment. The scope includes the execution of maintenance services, the provision of stakeholder reporting via dashboards and key process indicators, and the development of service level agreements. The maintenance workflow is managed through a 24/7 Maintenance Dispatch Center utilizing ServiceNow and MAXIMO to issue work orders and track completion. This opportunity is currently designated as a Small Business Set Aside, though the agency is using this RFI to determine if a small business or 8(a) set-aside is justifiable based on the availability of at least two capable firms. Interested respondents must submit their capabilities, business size status, and up to three past performance references by October 27, 2026, via email to the primary point of contact. Submissions are limited to 10 pages total, with a maximum of three pages per past performance reference and a total file size limit of 50 MB. This announcement is for planning purposes only and does not constitute a formal solicitation or a commitment to issue a procurement.

INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Indian Health Service (IHS), Phoenix Area Office, intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302?1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, as implemented by HHSAR 306.302?1 and consistent with IHM acquisition policies. This action is further supported by FAR 6.302?2, Unusual and Compelling Urgency, due to imminent CLIA certification renewal requirements in November 2025. This requirement is for the relocation, reinstallation, and validation of proprietary QuidelOrtho VITROS XT3400 and XT7600 chemistry analyzers at the Hopi Health Care Center (HHCC), Polacca, Arizona. The analyzers must be relocated from the current laboratory to a modular laboratory during facility renovations and subsequently returned to the permanent laboratory space once construction is complete. Only the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), QuidelOrtho Sales Company, LLC, and its authorized service representatives are qualified to perform this work. The systems and reagents are FDA?approved to operate as an integrated platform, and CLIA/CAP accreditation requires OEM validation after relocation. Per QuidelOrtho's Federal Supply Schedule Contract V797D?60637, relocation services are explicitly excluded from covered obligations, requiring separate procurement directly from the OEM. Relocation performed by any other source would void warranties, risk analyzer operability, and jeopardize HHCC's CLIA certification renewal.
