Tomoka Farms Road Landfill (TFRL) Leachate Evaporation System Demonstration Project

The County of Volusia is soliciting proposals for the Tomoka Farms Road Landfill Leachate Evaporation System Demonstration Project, identified by solicitation number 26-P-130JD. The project requires the design, installation, and operation of a leachate evaporation system at the Tomoka Farms Road Landfill in Port Orange, Florida. The primary objective is to achieve an average evaporation rate of 100,000 gallons per day over a six-month performance period. The selected contractor must provide a measurement, monitoring, and reporting plan within 30 days of the Notice to Proceed and provide 40 hours of consulting to the County during the demonstration. Mandatory requirements include the provision of payment and performance bonds equal to 100% of the contract price, comprehensive insurance coverage, and the use of a Florida Registered Electrical Contractor for power connections.
