The SEA will provide the County with long-term (100+ years) Class I solid waste disposal capacity. The following Scope of Work outlines the general requirements and major work elements to be completed. It is not to be construed as a complete list. The Contractor is responsible for being aware that the work will occur at an active landfill, where additional construction activities, including landfill and ancillary facilities, may also be in progress. The SEA already has a stormwater management system and perimeter road, both previously constructed by others, in place. Work to be performed is identified in the Contract Documents (i.e., Drawings, these Specifications, and other parts of the Project Manual). The Contractor shall furnish machinery, tools, equipment, material, and labor necessary for the performance of the Work in a satisfactory, complete, neat, and finished manner. All incidental, minor, and miscellaneous labor, materials, and work items not specified or shown, but are necessary to complete the indicated Work and maintain and repair the Work, or which may be reasonably implied to include, shall be completed and furnished by the Contractor without additional cost to the County.
