The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement to replace two (2) guyed towers (approx. 75' each). All work is on FAA property located near Binghamton, NY. There’s a paved parking area, equipment building, 2 antenna towers, and other items located on the site. There is an ASR facility also on site. The FAA wants to replace existing guyed towers with self-supporting towers while keeping facility in service, per the drawings and specs. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials (unless noted otherwise in the contract documents), and specialized equipment as necessary to perform the work described in the Scope of Work (SOW). A site visit is scheduled for Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at 9:00 AM ET/8:00 AM CT. Site visit instructions can be found in (Section L, 3.2.2.3-63 Site Visit (Construction). Pre-bid Questions/Answers from the site visit are now attached. ALL QUESTIONS REGARDING THE PROJECT/SPECIFICATIONS/PLANS MUST BE RECEIVED IN WRITING to contact@example.gov NO LATER THAN 5:00 P.M. CST ON AUGUST 10, 2018 TO ALLOW FOR RESPONSES TO BE PROVIDED PRIOR TO DUE DATE FOR RECEIPT OF PROPOSALS. Contractors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) on the date for receipt of offers.
