The Deliverables required are as follows: • Remove and properly dispose of existing roof top units (RTU’s) • Install new devices with zoning capabilities • Provide system testing, balancing, and commissioning upon completion The objective of this project is to complete lifecycle replacement of three (3) RTUs with higher-efficiency units, where available (e.g., dual-fuel RTUs or Advanced Performance Gas RTUs), to improve overall system performance and energy efficiency. The Proponent shall be fully responsible for: • All engineering required to complete the Deliverables • Preparation of drawings, specifications, and technical documentation stamped and sealed by a Professional Engineer licensed in the Province of Alberta • Obtaining all required permits, approvals, and inspections from applicable authorities having jurisdiction • Ensuring full compliance with all applicable codes, standards, bylaws, and regulations • Coordination with Town staff, utilities, authorities having jurisdiction, and other stakeholders • Testing, commissioning, and verification that the Deliverables are fully operational and meet performance requirements All equipment installed shall comply with the structural roof loading requirements as determined by the building’s structural design. Under no circumstances shall installed units exceed the allowable roof load capacity. The Contractor shall verify and ensure compliance prior to installation.
