The Canadian Army, through the Canadian Army Doctrine and Training Centre, has issued a Request for Information under solicitation number W3915-27-0110 to identify external training institutions capable of delivering a customized automotive technician training program. This initiative aims to address gaps in internal training capacity by leveraging external facilities to train members in areas including internal combustion engine maintenance for gasoline and diesel engines, road maintenance systems, starting and charging systems, and transmission systems. The proposed training is intended to be delivered in three progressive cohorts of approximately 30 days each during the summer period between June 1 and August 31. Potential locations for performance include Alberta, Nova Scotia, Ontario, and Quebec, though other locations may be considered. This request is strictly for information gathering to help develop future training requirements and will not result in the award of a contract at this time. Interested respondents are asked to provide answers to the questions in Appendix A, along with any suggestions or alternatives, by the deadline of November 13, 2026. Submissions may be provided in either official language of Canada and should be directed to the Contracting Authority via email. Respondents must clearly mark any proprietary or confidential information to ensure it is treated as such by the government.

This is not a bid solicitation or request for offers and this request will not result in the award of any contract at this time.
