The contractor is required to provide all labor, equipment, supervision, and transportation to identify, fell, remove, and dispose of designated hazard trees, including standing or downed dead trees 6 inches in diameter or larger and marked sweet gum, across approximately 75 acres. Key deliverables include limbing, bucking, stump grinding within the campground footprint, and mastication in designated areas. Woody debris must be hauled to a government-owned gravel pit located approximately 10.3 miles from the site. All work must comply with OSHA standards and ANSI Z133 safety requirements. The anticipated award is a firm fixed price purchase order with a 60-day period of performance, scheduled from September 28, 2026, to November 28, 2026. While ISA certification was previously mentioned, it has been removed as a requirement; however, a Louisiana Agriculture and Forestry licensed arborist is mandatory by state law.
