RE: 192119VSA00000014 NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE: The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Office of Acquisition Management, Investigations and Operations Support- Dallas office intends to award a sole source contract pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b)(1). The intended procurement is classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 611110 Elementary and Secondary Schools. STATUTORY AUTHORITY: In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1), the Contracting Officer may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. THIS SPECIAL NOTICE IS NOT A SOLICITATION or request for competitive offers, quotations or proposals. It does not constitute a commitment or an obligation by the Government. No solicitation package is available. The Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs (ICE) Office of Acquisition Management (OAQ) Dallas, TX 75247, intends to solicit from a single source under the authority of FAR 13.106 to Caribbean School Inc, 1689 Calle Navarra, Ponce, Puerto Rico 00730 for School Year 2019/2020, August 1, 2018-May 31, 2019. This procurement is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures. This requirement cannot be competed because the Government can only reimburse tuition fees to schools that have been designated as Domestic Dependent Elementary and Secondary Schools (DDESS) Special Arrangement Schools by the Department of Defense Education Activity.
