Full Description

The Government is seeking a contractor to provide wetland restoration for Turkey Creek in Seminole County, Florida. The wetland restoration work consists of clearing and grubbing; structure removal; excavation; earthfill (construction of ditch plugs); land smoothing; removal of existing dike; installing articulated block for low water crossings; and seeding and mulching. This is a sealed bid procurement. The Government reserves the right to cancel the solicitation before or after the closing date. All solicitation documents will be available in electronic format at www.fbo.gov. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration data base to be eligible for award. The dollar range for the project is $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00 and the estimated time for completion is 250 calendar days. The NAICS code for this procurement is 237990 and the SBA size is $31 million. Solicitations will be posted on FedBizopps on or about August 13, 2010 and are due on or about September 13, 2010 at 2:30 local time. Faxed bids will not be accepted.
