Solicitation 140FF027Q0012 is a Firm Fixed Price construction contract issued by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for siding repairs at the Caddo Lake National Wildlife Refuge in Karnack, Texas. The project involves the removal of damaged siding from the back of the visitor center trailer and the end of an auxiliary trailer, followed by the installation of approximately 600 square feet of color-matched siding, J-channel, underpinning, and trim for four outside corners. The scope also includes site cleanup and the use of magnets to clear the exterior of debris. Due to the lack of provided drawings, a site visit is required for all prospective bidders. The government will award the contract to the lowest priced responsible offeror who meets all technical requirements and maintains an active SAM registration. The estimated contract value is less than $25,000, and as a result, bid, performance, and payment bonds are generally not required unless the award exceeds $35,000. The contractor must begin work within 10 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed and complete all activities within 60 calendar days. Proposals must be submitted via email to the contracting specialist by November 6, 2026, at 5:00 PM EST.
