AI Contract Overview
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is seeking to establish a contract through a competitive procurement process for the supply of Type II Temporary Raised Pavement Markers and Guardrail Delineators. The contract aims to secure responsive and responsible bidders capable of providing durable, WisDOT-approved products designed to temporarily delineate roadway surfaces during chip-sealing operations and enhance guardrail visibility with reflective delineators. The scope includes not only the supply of these products but also the provision of instruction, training, and technical assistance as needed. The contract size is estimated to range between $500,000 and $2,000,000, with the primary point of contact being Leann McGowan. The procurement process involves key deadlines, including a questions deadline of October 17, 2025, and a bid submission deadline of November 10, 2025. The overarching contract is connected to existing agreements, such as the ongoing amendment to a pavement marking waterborne paint contract with PPG Ennis-Flint, which has been extended through December 15, 2026, with adjustments to product pricing and the addition of new products. This indicates a broader framework of ongoing transportation-related procurement activities. The bid solicitation emphasizes adherence to specific product standards, referencing WisDOT-approved products listed in the pavement-marking guide, and underscores the importance of technical support from the successful bidder. Overall, the contract is designed to ensure the availability of high-quality, compliant roadway delineation products and related services to support WisDOT’s maintenance and safety operations across Wisconsin.
