The Federal Correctional Institution, Marianna, Florida is soliciting a contractor to provide nonpersonal services as a Computer Refurbishing V.T. Instructor. The offeror must be a qualified computer technician or teacher, certified by any technical school or State Department of Education, with a minimum of one year teaching experience in the subject area. These services will be provided to federal inmates within a secure correctional environment. This requirement is a 100% set-a-side for small business. This will be an indefinite delivery/ requirements contract with a firm-fixed unit price. The award will be made to the responsible company or individual who submits the most advantages quote to the government based upon Best Value. The government may make award without discussions; therefore, offerors are instructed to submit their best offer initially. The resulting contract will be for a base period , not to exceed nine (9) months, with two(2) one (1) year option periods to be exercised at the sole discretion of the government. The number of one hour sessions is estimated at 625 depending on the actual date of award. The number of hours per week shall not exceed thirty hours. Sessions are to be performed between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The solicitation will be available on or about December 4, 2006 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration?s Federal Business Opportunities website at www. fbo.gov.
