The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source firm fixed priced purchase order to The Cooper Institute for Aerobic Research, 12330 Preston Road Dallas, TX. is the only known provider for these particular services. The purpose of this project is to revise the Personal Energy Plan (PEP) worksite program materials developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and The Cooper Institute for Aerobic Research. This update is required to incorporate any current practice-based research related to Stages of Change theory, input from those who have used PEP, the latest nutrition and physical activity guidelines and features that make the product easier to use. The proposed contract action is for services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-3. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
