This synopsis provides notification of the Government's award of a sole source hybrid Firm Fixed Price (FFP)/Time and Materials (T&M) Task Order (TO) in support of the U.S Army HRC Accessioning Mission Information Technology Application and Program (ITAP) support utilizing the procedures of FAR Part 8 to the following incumbent contractor Hewlett Packard Enterprise Services (HPES) 13600 HP ES Drive Herndon, VA 20171-3225 This sole source bridge TO will provide the U.S Army HRC Accessioning Mission with continued essential IT support while GSA FEDSIM prepares the recompete package for the HRC's Information Technology Support Order (ITSO), a requirement that will be recompeted in June 2013 and will subsume all Accessioning Mission IT support provided in this bridge TO. This TO will provide the HRC Accessioning Mission with sustainment, development, enhancement, customization, integration, system migration, and Replatforming of IT systems used for the comment and control of the recruiting of the Army's officer, warrant officer, and enlisted forces. This TO was awarded on a sole source basis to HPES pursuant to FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(A), an urgent and compelling need exists and following the competition procedures would result in unacceptable delays. A Limited Sources Justification (LSJ) and Determination and Findings (D&F) for award of a Time & Material (T&M) TO are separately attached.
