See posted J&A for further information. MEMORANDUM FOR RECORD FOR OTHER THEN FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION UNDER THE SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION THRESHOLD 1. Contracting Agency: Southern Regional Contracting Office, Fort Sam Houston, TX 78234 2. Description of Action: Sole source acquisition with Maimonides Sleep Arts & Sciences, for Sleep Dynamic Therapy Training Courses. This action will be accomplished through the use of a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order. 3. Description of Products/Services: This requirement is to provide instruction and training in the application of Sleep Dynamic Therapy (SDT) evidence based treatment training for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder to Licensed Behavioral Health Providers for soldiers with PTSD. This training will provide full fidelity of this treatment modality and applicable knowledge regarding treating PTSD with SDT. 4. Authority Cited: 10 USC 2304(c) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b) (1), Soliciting from a single source.
