NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs, SAO West - Network Contracting Office (NCO) 22, for the VA Greater San Diego Healthcare System (VASDHS), intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, UCSD Health Sciences Research, Compliance Program. The statutory authority for restricting competition under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) for Single Source, commercial item acquisitions not exceeding the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT), currently $250,000, is 41 U.S.C. 1903, as implemented by FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
