Description
Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Polk is issuing a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION Request for Quote (RFQ) for a firm fixed price non-personal services contract to provide Unaccompanied Personal Housing (UPH) Washer and Dryer Movement and Maintenance/Repair Services. The Washers and Dryers are required to be provided to Soldiers assigned to Fort Polk. Resident Soldiers in Fort Polk’s barracks rely on washer and dryer services to sustain their quality of life. Approximately 3,000 Demand Maintenance Orders (DMO) were submitted during the past year out of approximately 4,000 washer/dryer units. This acquisition is a 100% Total Small Business set aside under NAICS 811412 (Size Standard $19.5 million advertised through the Government Point of Entry (GPE) at Sam.gov. The action will be solicited under FAR Part 12-Acquisition of Commercial Products and Services. The government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date for receipt of quotations. In the event the government cancels this solicitation, the government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. If funds are not available to fund the entire contract value, the Government reserves the right to re-evaluate quotations by unit price per service and issue an award on a SOME, NONE, or ALL basis for each individual service needed.
The RFQ will open on May 27, 2026, for 30 days, with a closing date of June 26, 2026, 3pm Central Standard Time. The Period of Performance (POP) for the proposed contract award will be One (1) 12-Month Base Period and Four (4) 12-Month Option Periods. Submit all questions to the POCs shown below No Later Than June 8, 2026, 1100 am CST. Responses to all questions will be posted via an Amendment NLT June 11, 2026, 12pm CST. The requirement will be available for inspection without charge through the Government wide Point of Entry (https://SAM.gov/). No paper copies of this solicitation are available. Submitted quotes will be accepted electronically by email or through the SAM.gov website. Submitting quotes by FAX will NOT BE accepted. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments.
