Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)

The Department of Veterans Affairs, through Network Contracting Office 4, is conducting market research for the procurement of nine new Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) units to support the Electronic Health Records Modernization initiative at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center’s Community Based Outpatient Clinics. This effort is initiated via a Sources Sought Notice, not a formal solicitation, meaning no contract will result directly from this request and responses will not be evaluated for award purposes. The required units must meet specific technical criteria: a 6kVA rating, single-phase input/output, rack/tower configuration, 208V L6-30P input, and 208V output with three L6-20R and three L6-30R receptacles. The UPS must include internal batteries capable of sustaining full load for 3.5 minutes, feature an SNMP communications card, measure 8.5” x 16.9” x 23.6”, and come with a three-year parts and two-year battery warranty. The government is seeking either brand-name Vertiv Liebert GXT5 units or equal alternatives. All units must be delivered to the main campus at 3900 Woodland Ave, Philadelphia, PA, for onboarding by OIT, with delivery scheduling to be coordinated with the Contracting Officer’s Representative after any future award.
