The exterior printing on the outside front panel must include 18 type lines and one heavy line in solid PMS 873C Gold, with instructions centered and similarly printed on the inside panel, as well as type matter on the back cover and backbone. The easy-lock system involves three seamless ¼-inch diameter metal posts and sleeves spaced about 4-1/4 inches apart, with telescoping capability to adjust the spine width and a lever positioned at the top front to avoid damage during handling. Additional features include a 2-inch wide checkered gripping zone on the front and back covers near the backbone to enhance handling, and debossed areas on both the front cover and backbone for label placement with specific dimensions and depth.
