The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic (SPAWARSYSCEN Atlantic) is seeking information on commercially available Universal Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) that meet specific technical criteria tailored for rack-mount enclosures. The required UPS must have a 2000VA, 1400W rating, support manually selectable input and output voltages (120VAC or 240VAC), and be compatible with both Lithium Iron Phosphate and Lead Acid batteries. Key features include wide input voltage range (85VAC to 265VAC) without battery usage, power factor correction exceeding 0.99, selectable output frequencies (50Hz/60Hz), hot-swappable batteries, a 2U form factor with a compact aluminum enclosure, and communication capabilities through RS232 or SNMP v3 Ethernet for remote management. The system must provide approximately 14 minutes of backup time at a 1000W load and operate within a temperature range of -20°C to +50°C. The UPS includes international power cord options and locking panel switch controls to configure communication ports. Respondents are requested to provide company and product information, including details on whether they are manufacturers or distributors, product features, pricing, and GSA schedule availability. This solicitation is an information-gathering effort to assess and validate potential UPS solutions that can support SSC-LANT’s equipment loads, with all submitted data treated as public. The RFI explicitly states it is not a solicitation or a promise of contract award. Vendors must avoid submitting proprietary information and are advised that any follow-up will be based on subsequent project needs. Information must be submitted by the specified deadline, with contact points available for technical and contract-related questions. The findings will guide SSC-LANT in selecting equipment that aligns with future project requirements.
