AI Contract Overview
The Nevada System of Higher Education, specifically Reno University of Nevada, has updated its procurement process by requiring all bid documents for solicitations such as ITBs, RFPs, RFQs, or CMARs to be submitted electronically through their designated website, eliminating the acceptance of hard copies. Vendors must register with the new NSHE Supplier Registration system to be eligible for payments, with a one-time registration process that can be verified or completed via provided links. Bidders are encouraged to work on their responses early, utilizing the system’s save feature to ensure timely submission before the closing deadline, which is set for May 16, 2024, for the RFQ related to the Special Inspection & Testing Services for the Nevada State Health Laboratory project. Once responses are unsealed electronically after the deadline, the list of bidders and bid documents will be publicly accessible online, allowing transparency and review. The solicitation, titled "UNR - Special Inspection & Testing Services," is part of a project numbered 23NC02025, with Ryan Caddel serving as the primary contact. The scope of work is detailed in an attached document, and interested vendors can find additional information and access the bid details through the provided online link.

Full Description
**NSHE recently migrated to a new payment system that requires all of our vendors register with the system in order for our Controllers office to allow us to pay you. Please visit the following link for the NSHE Supplier Registration system to sign up for a new account: https://suppliers.nevada.edu/Membership/Secure/CreateUser.aspx. This process only needs to be completed once. If you believe you already have an account set up please confirm by searching for your company at this link: https://suppliers.nevada.edu/FindSupplier.aspx. If your company is listed and shows the Supplier Status as anything other than “Accepted” then there are still steps that must be completed before your registration is approved.
**Once an ITB/RFP/RFQ/CMAR is released for bidding, bidders may begin working on their response and uploading required documents without submitting their bid early. The NGEM system allows for bidders to save their work. Please make use of this capability in order to give your company enough time to review your response and upload any other documents on the day the ITB/RFP/RFQ/CMAR closes so that you do not miss the cut-off time.
****Once the ITB/RFP/RFQ/CMAR closes and the responses are unsealed electronically, the list of bidders/responders will be immediately posted online and available to the public for viewing. This document can be accessed by clicking on Closed Bid Opportunities, selecting the specific opportunity, and scrolling down to Bid Documents. The Bid Tabulation document will be available for review there.
