Charter Communications is planning to upgrade an existing pedestal to a new 24-inch by 36-inch by 18-inch model located in the sidewalk within CALTRANS right-of-way along State Route 1, Pacific Coast Highway, at Post Mile 14.2 in the City of Lomita, Los Angeles County. The work includes excavation to a maximum depth of 18 inches, with an average width of 36 inches and a total length of 24 linear feet, all aimed at accommodating the new pedestal without the need to relocate any public utilities or acquire additional right-of-way. Associated temporary traffic control measures will be implemented to ensure safety and minimal disruption during construction.
