Solicitation 70Z08526Q40200B00 is a combined synopsis and request for quote issued by the U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center for the procurement of specific brand name components from Appleton Marine Inc. This is a Brand Name Only solicitation with no substitutions authorized; therefore, interested vendors must be authorized distributors and provide an authorized distributor letter from the Original Equipment Manufacturer with their quotation. The requirement is a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 333995 and will result in a firm-fixed-price purchase order. The procurement consists of three line items: three Jib Cylinders (NSN 3040 01-F12-2745), four Luff Cylinders (NSN 3040 01-F12-2743), and ten Sheaves (NSN 3020 01-F12-2750). Strict packaging and marking standards apply, including MIL-STD-2073-1E Method 10 for cylinders and ASTM D5118 fiberboard boxes for sheaves, with all items requiring marking per MIL-STD-129R and barcoding per ISO/IEC-16388-2007. Delivery is required by September 30, 2026, to the USCG Surface Forces Logistics Center in Baltimore, Maryland, with shipping terms set as FOB Destination. Offers will be evaluated based on price and the ability to meet the brand name and authorized distributor requirements. Successful contractors must submit invoices through the Invoice Processing Platform with payment terms of Net 30. All submissions must include the vendor's Unique Entity Identifier and CAGE code, and offerors must maintain current representations and certifications in the System for Award Management.
