Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12 / 36. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.
Solicitation number 12445126B0042 is issued as a Invitation for Bid (IFB) for two roofing related projects in MS. One is located at Mississippi State University (Starkville) and the other at the ARS National Biological Control Laboratory Building #80 at 59 Lee Road in Stoneville, MS.
52.228-1 Bid Guarantee (Sept 1996): Required for either the individual package (bidding only one) or the combine total of both packages.
FAR 52.228-15 Performance and Payment Bonds-Construction (Jun 2020): Both required 100% of original contract award price. Due 10 days after the award. Irrevocable letter or credit or Payment Bond form SF-25A & Performance Bond Form SF-25 are allowed per FAR 52.228-13.
Set Aside: This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 238160 - Roofing Contractors . Statement of Requirement: This Invitation for bid consists of work in two separate locations.
- 01 Package 1174723 Roof Protective Seal Coating. The contractor will provide all Labor, equipment and materials for roof preparation, cleaning, detail work, sealants and application of a GAF Roof Coating System on bldg. 27, 29A, 35 and 36 located at USDA ARS MS State.
- 02 Package 1174574 Vent boots and Vent Savers. The contractor will provide all Labor, equipment and materials for Supply/Installation for (53) Roof Vent Boots and Vent Savers. These roofs vents consist of metal hood covers and baseplates, with baseplates sealed and screwed to the metal.
