Solicitation N00033-11-T-9028, issued by the Military Sealift Command under the Department of Defense, seeks a contractor to update the Main Switchboard Schematic Wiring Diagram for the USNS KAISER. The scope of work involves conducting a shipcheck of 16 switchboard sections in San Diego, California, converting 46 existing drawing sheets into AutoCAD 2008 format, and updating the associated Bill of Materials. Required deliverables include a shipcheck plan, data sheets, technical reports, and the final updated schematic wiring diagrams and material lists. Amendment 0001 modified the original request by extending the proposal deadline to May 5, 2011, and refining the Performance Work Statement regarding shipcheck requirements and AutoCAD conversion. This amendment also updated the necessary personnel qualifications for the Project Engineer and removed the requirement for Non-Disclosure Agreements. Additional clarifications provided in the project documentation address specific formatting for the Bill of Materials and the allocation of travel costs associated with the shipcheck.
