Synopsis is not required in accordance with FAR 5.202(a)(13). CIS Heat Exchanger and Cooler Services to be performed onboard USS HIGGINS (DDG-76). Contractor shall provide labor, rigging services, crane, equipment, and materials for the disassembly, mechanical cleaning, inspection, re-assembly, and operational testing of the sea water condenser coolers for the Nr. 1, Nr. 2, Nr. 3, and Nr. 4 air conditioning plants. The contractor will be required to provide all labor services and materials in accordance with the established statement of work and all applicable government specifications and regulations. Inspections and acceptance of all services will be performed at destination by the cognizant government representative. The contractor is responsible for the use of the latest revision references, specifications and NAVSEA Standard Items. The successful offeror will be required to have a Southwest Regional Maintenance Center approved Quality System (IAW NAVSEA Standard Item 009-004), approved and in place at time of contract award.
