USS SHOUP (DDG 86) SRA 7C1, Bundle 1

The Naval Supply Systems Command Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center Yokosuka and the Ship and Repair Facility and Japan Regional Maintenance Center intend to award a Firm-Fixed-Price contract for the repair and continuous maintenance of the United States Navy Surface Ship USS SHOUP (DDG 86). The anticipated period of performance is from December 7, 2026, through July 20, 2027, with all work performed onboard Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka at the Yokosuka Naval Base in Japan. The scope of work is defined by various Task Group Instructions, which include cleaning and inspecting fuel receiving and service tanks, removing and reinstalling the bow anchor and chain assembly, performing waveguide and transmission line dry air lay-up, and conducting chemical cleaning and operational testing of the potable water and sewage piping systems. This acquisition is open to all responsible and eligible sources, and no socio-economic set-asides will be applied. However, eligible offerors must be duly authorized to operate and do business in Japan per DFARS 252.225-7042 and must possess a current and active USN Master Ship Repair Agreement or Agreement for Boat Repair. While this is currently a pre-solicitation notice and not a request for proposals, the formal solicitation is expected to be issued around April 20, 2026, via SAM.gov.
