CITY OF TUSCALOOSA ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS                                     Project Name: Utility Relocation for ALDOT Project No. NH-0069(581) SR-69 Intersection Improvements from Mimosa Park Road to 0.28 Mile North of the I-59 Overpass, City of Tuscaloosa, Alabama                                             File Number:  OCA-26-1067                          Engineering Project Number:   2024.715.001             Sealed Bid Proposals will be received by the City of Tuscaloosa, at the Council Chamber of City   Hall, 2201 University Boulevard, on September 24, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., local time for this project, at which time bids will be opened and read.   Pre-Bid Conference: Attendance at the MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference is required in order for a General Contractor to submit a bid on this Project. The Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the Council Chamber of City Hall, 2201 University Boulevard, on September 17, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.,  local time. Parking and Entry to City Hall: Free visitor parking is provided in the Intermodal Facility (parking deck) at 2230 7th Street. Access City Hall through the 4th-floor skywalk entrance to Security.   Project Scope: Utility relocation of existing water and gravity sewer including approximately 14 linear feet of water main (12-inch), 65 linear feet of gravity sewer main (8-inch), 5 linear feet of encasement pipe (24-inch), 11.2 vertical linear feet of precast concrete manhole (48-inch), 1 cubic yard of cement mortar flowable backfill, 95 square yards of asphalt patching, 938 square yards of bituminous concrete wearing surface, wastewater flow control, landscaping, and miscellaneous appurtenances necessary to complete the work.                                                                                                                                                    Award of the contract will be made within sixty (60) calendar days from the date of the bid opening.   Plans and Specifications:  Plans and specifications and all related Contract Documents are open for public inspection at the office of the Water & Sewer Department at the Hilliard N.
