Effective January 1, 2007, the HQ Air Mobility Command/A3KRS Contract Airlift transitioned its operations to the Transportation Contracting Activity – Airlift (TCAQ-R) under the U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM). While the physical office location remains unchanged at Scott AFB, Illinois, and existing telephone and fax numbers are retained, there are several key updates including a new office symbol and mailing address: USTRANSCOM/TCAQ-R, 508 Scott Drive, Scott AFB, IL 62225-5357. Contract numbers currently in use will remain the same; however, new solicitations and contracts will reflect a prefix change from FA4428 to HTC711. New contract requirements will continue to be posted on FedBizOpps under the same NAICS code 481111, but the agency listing has been updated to DoD, Other Defense Agencies, USTRANSCOM. Additionally, prospective contractors should expect changes in the appearance and processing of contractual documents due to the adoption of the Standard Procurement System/Procurement Desktop-Defense automated contracting system. This update aims to streamline operations within the USTRANSCOM framework while maintaining continuity in contract management and communications. For further inquiries, the designated point of contact is Contract Specialist Marie T. Pendergast, who can be reached by phone or email at the provided contact information.
