The Department of the Treasury's, Bureau of the Public Debt (BPD), intends to award a sole source contract to The Daston Corporation to obtain verification services for Treasury Direct. The BPD is currently utilizing verification services through The Daston Corporation. The Daston Corpration provides a product from their partner, DataX. DataX's product has been integrated into BPDs current system. In order to minimize costly internal system changes the BPD must remain with a DataX partner. No other source is known that is fully capable and cost efficient to provide the required services. The period of performance for the award is a base year and four option years. We believe The Daston Corporation to be the only known source that possesses the capability required by BPD. Any responses received as a result of this notice, shall include the organization's capability statement and qualifications for the provision of this service, which may or may not be considered by the agency. Responses will NOT be considered as either proposals or bids. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition, based upon any written responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Other information: Electronic submissions, in response to this Notice, shall reference SS-OIT-10-0031 and be sent to the attention of W. Pickens via email to PSB2@bpd.treas.gov.
