VET Control Team

This is a notice of intent to increase the ceiling of Contract N66001-15-C-4063 to Digital Operatives LLC, awarded by SSC Pacific on behalf of the Defense Advanced Research Project Agency (DARPA), Information Innovation Office (I2O) on 17 September 2015. Upon exercise of Option 1, performance will end on 16 September 2017. The performer, Digital Operatives, is currently under contract to perform as the control team for the VET program, technical area 2, by proving the absence of malice in software using industry standard tools currently available. Under this additional effort, the contractor shall create adversary attack scenarios for the technical area 1 of the VET program, defining malice. The NAICS code for this procurement is 541712. Due to the nature of Research and Development efforts, DARPA I2O could not have a reasonably estimated the results of the research from this program, which has seen breakthroughs that will benefit from continued research under this current contract. This action includes a ceiling increase of approximately $36,431 to Option Period 1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes and will be posted for 5 days. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
