AI Contract Overview

The 60th Security Forces Squadron at Travis Air Force Base is preparing to procure a fully integrated IP-based CCTV system for the Visitor Control Center in Building 615, with a required completion timeline of 210 days after award. The system will include six Bosch cameras—four exterior Pan/Tilt/Zoom units for 360-degree coverage and two interior ceiling-mounted units—along with all associated hardware, cabling, and software necessary for seamless operation. A non-negotiable requirement is full integration with the existing proprietary Integrated Base Defense Security System, which is exclusively provided and maintained by Advantor Systems II LLC. The contractor must deliver as-built documentation, comprehensive user manuals, and conduct on-site operational training for up to ten government personnel. This acquisition is being conducted as a noncompetitive, sole-source procurement due to the proprietary nature of the Advantor system, with only authorized providers of Advantor equipment eligible to respond. The Government intends to issue a Request for Quotation and award a firm-fixed-price purchase order based on technical capability and price, with an anticipated award date of September 1, 2026. All potential respondents must submit a capability statement proving their authorization as an Advantor Systems provider and installer, as no alternative solutions can interface with the existing infrastructure. While this is currently a pre-solicitation notice and not an invitation for offers, interested parties must respond by the August 19, 2026 deadline to provide input and confirm their ability to meet the unique technical and integration demands. The procurement is classified under NAICS code 334290 and is being managed by the Department of Defense office located at Travis AFB, California, with primary point of contact Don Salgado overseeing the process.
