NOTICE OF INTENT: THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A CONTRACT ON SOLE SOURCE BASIS. THIS SYNOPSIS IS POSTED TO ANNOUNCE THE INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT NUMBER N00168-12-P-3522 TO WORLD WIDE TECHNOLOGY, INC ANNOUNCEMENT: THE WALTER REED NATIONAL MILITARY MEDICAL CENTER (WRNMMC) ACQUISITIION MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT, BETHESDA, MD ON BEHALF OF INFO2 DEPARTMENT IS ISSUING THIS NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCURNMENT TO WORLD WIDE TECHNOLOGY, INC ON THE BASIS OF BEST VALUE AS PRIMARY AND PRICE AS SECONDARY FACTORS IN ACQUIRING VISUALIZATION VMWARE VIEW PREMIER BUNDLE FOR STANDARD OPERATING SOFTWARE SUPPLIES FOR THE EXISTING SYSTEM EXPANSION UNDER URGENT AND COMPELLING CIRCUMSTANCES. THE CONTRACT ACTIONS ARE FOR SUPPLIES FOR WHICH THE GOVERNMENT DETERMINED TO SOLICIT AND NEGOTIATE WITH ONLY ONE SOURCE UNDER AUTHORITY OF FAR 6.301 ONLY ONE RESPONSIBLE SOURCE AND NO OTHER SUPPLIES OR SERVICES WILL SATISFY AGENCY REQUIREMENTS. THEREFORE, THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD AND NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETIVE PRICE QUOTES. A DETERMINATION BY THE GOVERNMENT NOT TO SEEK COMPETETIVE QUOTES ON THESE PROCUREMENT ACTIONS HAS BEEN MADE AND ANY RESPONSE TO THIS NOICE IS SOLELY WITHIN THE DISCRETION OF THE GOVERNMENT. THE INTENDED AWARD WILL BE MADE USING SAP. END OF NOTICE.
