The purpose of this ITB is to establish a contract, at firm unit prices, to furnish the necessary personnel, labor, supervision, materials, equipment, services, permits, licenses and insurance, transportation, and all things necessary for or incidental to the operation and maintenance of the Wastewater Treatment Plants
(WWTPs) at Pinecrest Elementary and the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) and Potable Water Treatment Plant at Redlands Schools, for Regulatory Compliance, in full compliance with appropriate Miami- Dade County Department of Environmental Resource Management (DERM) and Florida Department of
Environmental Protection (FDEP) regulations.
The vendor is responsible for providing all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, service, permits, licenses and insurance, and transportation necessary to perform the work required under this contract. Vendor shall do so in a manner that is safe, efficient, and in full compliance with all applicable codes and regulations imposed by regulatory agencies having jurisdiction, including, but not necessarily limited to DERM and FDEP regulations. Vendor shall perform routine maintenance, which does not require additional charges and extensive labor. Non-routine repairs are those which require special tools, equipment and extensive labor resulting from normal wear and tear. Such repairs shall be based on the fee schedule rates for labor and parts of the Bid Proposal Form.
