Full Description

Creation of an online employment connection tool for international graduates and Sarnia-Lambton employers. The online employment tool must allow for international graduates to create a profile with their information along with a video resume for registered employers to view. The tool must allow for an unlimited amount of one minute video resumes per registered international graduate. Sarnia-Lambton employers will be able to create a profile and then view all registered international graduates from the talent pool. Employers will be able to connect directly with talent that they are interested in and share their current job opportunities with the selected talent. The employment tool must be able to allow matched connections between employers and international graduates and offer a platform to search for certain job titles as per the NOC descriptions. The tool must allow connections between employers and graduates. We see this online employment tool as a way to increase engagement with Sarnia-Lambton employers and graduated talents. Reporting metrics would be required to measure things such as number of international graduates registered, employers registered, connections made, jobs created etc. Users should be able to edit and delete their profiles as they see fit. The data containing their registration information must be deleted once they choose to remove their profile. The expectation upon completion is to have a tool that easily allows employers to post current and future employment opportunities and for prospective employees to see these postings and connect with businesses via this portal. Our hope is to drive international graduates to Sarnia-Lambton businesses and retain these international graduates in Sarnia-Lambton to help with the job shortage within the region
