Western Avenue Traffic Flow Improvements Project

The Western Avenue Traffic Flow Improvements Project (Project No. 8809) is a construction solicitation by the City of Rancho Palos Verdes, California, to implement an Adaptive Traffic Control Solution (ATCS). The scope of work includes installing left-turn median extensions at multiple intersections from Palos Verdes Drive North to Weymouth Place/Weymouth Avenue, upgrading traffic signals, and installing Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) improvements. Payment is processed monthly with a five percent retention withheld until final completion. Acceptance of the project is contingent upon a successful System Acceptance Test (SAT) for the ATCS, the completion of a final punch list within 14 calendar days, and the provision of a one-year warranty maintenance bond.
