AI Contract Overview
The Wisconsin Department of Revenue is soliciting bids for the production of 275,000 sheets of Mega Millions tear pads, totaling approximately 11,000 pads with 25 sheets each. The pads are designed to be 8-1/2 by 5-1/2 inches, printed in four-color process on both sides with bleeds, using 80# gloss text stock. The finishing process involves trimming around a black border, attaching a chipboard backing, and gluing the sheets together on the long side to form durable pads capable of withstanding extreme weather conditions, as they will be stored in vehicles exposed to temperature fluctuations. Each bundle of four pads must be shrink-wrapped, with individual boxes not exceeding 40 pounds, and delivery is scheduled for February 24, 2025. Bidders are required to ensure that at least 10% of the paper content contains post-consumer recycled materials, with certification available upon request. If virgin paper is used, bidders must complete the recycled paper exception form. Proofing involves overnight or hand delivery of one proof per project to the Wisconsin Lottery office, with an additional proof retained by the vendor for approval purposes. Delivery to the lottery warehouse in Madison must be pre-approved. The contract emphasizes environmental considerations, detailed specifications for materials and finishing, and strict delivery deadlines, with the response deadline set for January 30, 2025. The project is managed under the NAICS code 711510, and interested vendors can find further details and submit responses through the Wisconsin VendorNet portal.
