The Nevada system, represented by the Reno University of Nevada, has transitioned to an entirely electronic bidding process for solicitations such as ITBs, RFPs, RFQs, and CMARs, eliminating the acceptance of hard copy submissions. Vendors interested in participating must register with the NSHE Supplier Registration system, which is a one-time process, to facilitate payments and ensure their registration is accepted. Existing vendors should verify their status online and complete any pending steps if their account is not marked as “Accepted.” Bidders can prepare their responses in advance using the NGEM system, which allows saving progress, and must submit their final documents before the bid deadline. Once responses are unsealed, the list of bidders and bid documents will be publicly accessible online, promoting transparency. The contract involves providing and installing furniture for a multi-use study and events area, with work scheduled to commence on June 14, 2024, and to be completed by June 28, 2024, subject to adjustments by the owner. The solicitation, titled "WNC - FFE Only - The Hub," was posted on February 22, 2024, with a response deadline of March 21, 2024. **BCN Purchasing will no longer accept hard copy bid documents in response to any solicitation including, but not limited to: ITB, RFP, RFQ, or CMAR solicitations. All documents must be submitted electronically via this website.
**NSHE recently migrated to a new payment system that requires all of our vendors register with the system in order for our Controllers office to allow us to pay you. Please visit the following link for the NSHE Supplier Registration system to sign up for a new account: https://suppliers.nevada.edu/Membership/Secure/CreateUser.aspx. This process only needs to be completed once and is not required in order to respond to a bid solicitation. If you believe you already have an account set up please confirm by searching for your company at this link: https://suppliers.nevada.edu/FindSupplier.aspx. If your company is listed and shows the Supplier Status as anything other than “Accepted” then there are still steps that must be completed before your registration is approved.
**Once an ITB/RFP/RFQ/CMAR is released for bidding, bidders may begin working on their response and uploading required documents without submitting their bid early. The NGEM system allows for bidders to save their work. Please make use of this capability in order to give your company enough time to review your response and upload any other documents on the day the ITB/RFP/RFQ/CMAR closes so that you do not miss the cut-off time.
**Once the ITB/RFP/RFQ/CMAR closes and the responses are unsealed electronically, the list of bidders/responders will be immediately posted online and available to the public for viewing. This document can be accessed by clicking on Closed Bid Opportunities, selecting the specific opportunity, and scrolling down to Bid Documents. The Bid Tabulation document will be available for review there.
