Wyoming Fire Academy Burn Building Repairs

The Wyoming State Construction Department, Procurement Section, on behalf of the Wyoming Fire Prevention & Electrical Safety (Procuring Agency) will receive bids until 1:00 p.m. Mountain Time on May 15, 2024, for the Wyoming Fire Academy Burn Building Repairs project, located in Riverton, WY. Project Description: This project is to replace damaged, existing CMU walls in the Burn Building Prop. Short sections of CMU wall at the burn areas will be replaced in kind, a thermal liner will be added at burn areas to extend the service life of the CMU in those areas. It is the bidder’s responsibility to review, through Public Purchase at www.publicpurchase.com for answers to questions, addenda, or bid tabulations. A NON-MANDATORY pre-bid meeting will be conducted at 11:30 p.m. Mountain Time on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, starting at 2500 Academy Court, Riverton, WY 82501. Bidding questions shall be submitted on the Public Purchase website by 5:00 p.m. MT on May 1, 2024. All questions will be answered and provided to all prospective bidders via answers on the Public Purchase website or in the form of a written addendum posted on Public Purchase by 3:00 p.m. MT on May 8, 2024. Questions received after 5:00 p.m. Mountain Time on May 1, 2024, will not be addressed. It is the Contractor's responsibility (not required) to add their company to the Plan Holders and Contractors List. If a bid is greater than $150,000, each bid is required to have a bid deposit in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the total bid, which shall be in the form of a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check (a copy of a check will not be accepted) drawn on a reliable bank and made payable to the State of Wyoming (no personal checks will be accepted), or an electronic bid bond with Surety 2000. ONLY if you are submitting an original 10% bid bond or submitting a 10% cashier check, it MUST be received in the Procurement Office at: Wyoming State Construction Department, Procurement Office, 700 West 21st Street, Cheyenne, Wyoming 82002, by 1:00 p.m. May 15, 2024.
