The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking to lease clinical and administrative space in Tampa, Florida, within a specifically delineated area bounded by Bears Avenue to the north, County Road 581 to the north, I-75 to the east, Linebaugh Avenue (Highway 580) to the south, and I-275 to the west. The required space ranges from 26,188 to 26,998 ABOA square feet and must include 84 surface parking spaces, with six reserved for ADA compliance. The lease term is set for 10 years, with a firm term of five years. The space must adhere to government standards for fire safety, accessibility, seismic, and sustainability, and may not be located in a 1-percent-annual chance floodplain. The lease should be fully serviced, encompassing utilities and services such as janitorial, pest control, and security monitoring. The current government lease in Tampa is expiring, and the VA is considering alternative locations if they offer economic advantages, factoring in costs associated with relocation and downtime. Interested parties must submit expressions of interest by May 8, 2026, including details such as building name, address, availability date, parking, rental rates with tenant improvement costs, owner authorization, and any energy efficiency features. Responses are directed to Chennel Davis, Lease Contracting Officer. Entities are advised to begin System for Award Management registration promptly to participate.
