Retail Space for Lease in Torrance
Solicitation # DACA095270088200
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Los Angeles District, is seeking a fully-serviced lease for an Armed Forces Career Center in Torrance, California. The requirement is for Class A or B retail space with a minimum of 4,168 net usable square feet and a maximum of 4,739 gross rentable square feet. The space must be located within a specific delineated area bounded by Torrance Blvd to the north, Sepulveda Blvd to the south, Madrona Ave to the east, and Hawthorne Blvd to the west. The desired lease term is up to five years, including a one-year firm period, with government termination rights. The facility must be located in a compatible business environment, strictly prohibiting proximity to sexually oriented businesses, bars, liquor stores, or dispensaries. Key requirements include a primary and secondary point of ingress/egress, proximity to mass transit within three walking blocks, and specific parking provisions: 15 reserved, lighted spaces for government vehicles available 24/7, plus additional parking for approximately 19 employees and visitors. The government requires the use of its own lease form and mandates that the military services have access to the space, including utilities and HVAC, beyond normal working hours and on weekends or holidays. Award will be based on the best value, weighing technical factors—such as neighborhood quality, ease of access, visibility, and building appearance—approximately equal to the price of the fully-serviced lease. The lessor is responsible for all build-out costs and professional design accuracy, with government payments tied to specific completion milestones: 30% at 50% completion, 30% at 75% completion, and 40% upon final acceptance. Proposals must be submitted by October 30, 2026, and must include a signed Proposal to Lease Space form, as-built floor plans, site plans, a seismic offer form, and initialed copies of the draft lease, general clauses, and janitorial specifications. Full Description

The Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 1, has a requirement for lease space of 23,750 rentable square feet of clinical and related space. To satisfy the VHA mission requirements, the facility must be consolidated with the existing Worcester VA Health Clinic, multi-specialty Community Based Outpatient Clinic, which is currently located on the first and second floors of 403 Belmont Street, Worcester, MA. However, the Government will consider alternative space if economically advantageous. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and the disruption of Veterans clinical services. It is the Government s intention to solicit and negotiate only with the current lessor of the existing clinic. This is not a solicitation; it is notice of intent to sole source the requirement, but the Government reserves the right to solicit offers, if necessary. Inquiries/information received after the established deadline shall not be considered. The submission of any data for review shall not impede award of this contract as planned. The Government does not intend to pay for information solicited. This synopsis is issued pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. All communications shall be via email.

Replacement-in-Kind Repair of Existing Perimeter Security Fence (Ameristar Impasse Trident) Brand Name or Equal
Solicitation # 36C24127Q0041
The Department of Veterans Affairs VA Boston Healthcare System is soliciting a contract for a localized replacement-in-kind repair of the perimeter security fence at the Brockton VA Campus in Massachusetts. The project focuses on restoring five affected fence bays and six associated post locations that were damaged by winter snow-removal activities. The objective is to return the damaged sections to their original alignment, configuration, appearance, structural stability, and security function. The benchmark product is the Ameristar Impasse Trident system, and while genuine components are preferred, equal alternatives may be proposed if they meet all salient characteristics, including the use of corrosion-resistant tamper-resistant hardware and the maintenance of a continuous security boundary. This procurement is a total set-aside for certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) under NAICS code 238990. The period of performance is scheduled from December 1, 2026, to January 31, 2027. Award decisions will be based on the most advantageous offer, considering price, technical capability, and past performance, with a requirement for three relevant references. Proposals must be submitted in three separate PDF volumes (Technical, Past Performance, and Price) to the contract specialist by November 5, 2026. Final acceptance is contingent upon a satisfactory installation inspection, which may include a review by VA Police to ensure operational security.
